Las Chapas is situated just after Elviria, 15 – 20 min from Fuengirola and 10 min from Marbella city centre. Puerto Banus is one of the most visited towns on the Costa Del Sol, first of all Puerto Banus is world wide known for its glamorous harbour, which every year attracts some of the largest yachts from all over the world. This harbour is the place for all the strongest designer brands in the world, Armani, Louis Vuitton etc. All have there glitter shops on the frontline of this harbour. Puerto Banus is build in 1970 by the local well respected and famous businessman Josè Banus. He created the harbour with the intention of increasing trade and tourism to the area of Nueva Andalucia and have without a doubt succeded. Puerto Banus has it peak season in the summer period where the young population from the coast goes to party the whole night and enjoy the long warm summer nights on the promenade, dinner in this harbour is highly recommended, as it has a unique and wonderful atmosphere and could easily be given the name "the harbour that never sleeps" during the summer periods.
